Section 11-50-493 Oath. Before entering upon the duties of his office, each member of the board
shall take and subscribe the following oath: "I do solemnly swear that I will support
the Constitution of the State of Alabama and the Constitution of the United States and that
I will faithfully, zealously, and impartially discharge the duties of the office upon which
I am about to enter, without fear or favor, for the public welfare, so help me God."
The successors to the members of the board named in this chapter shall take and subscribe
