Section 34-24-75 Certain certificates issued without examination. (a) The State Board of Medical Examiners may, in its discretion and subject to rules and regulations promulgated by the board, issue a certificate of qualification without examination in behalf of full-time employed physicians teaching in any medical college in Alabama, approved by the Association of American Medical Colleges or the board. The dean of the medical college located in this state shall be required to annually certify to the board the names of members of the college's faculty who have not had issued in their behalf a certificate of qualification by the board and who, in the opinion of the dean, possess the qualifications as the board has or may prescribe including qualifications in the basic sciences, medical education, and other qualifications. Section 22-9A-7 Registration of births. (a) A certificate of birth for each live birth that occurs in this state shall be filed with the Office of Vital Statistics, or as otherwise directed by the State Registrar, within five days after the birth and shall be registered if it has been completed and filed in accordance with this section. (a) No person, acting directly or indirectly or through or in concert with one or more persons, may acquire control of a state bank or of any corporation or other entity having control of a state bank, unless an application is filed with the superintendent for review of the proposed transaction and for his or her action, if any, as provided in this section.
