Section 41-9-542 Composition. (a) The authority shall be composed of the following members
or their designees: (1) The Director of the Alabama Department of Archives and History. (2)
The Director of the Division of Construction Management of the Department of Finance. (3)
The Director of Finance of the State of Alabama. (4) The Executive Director of the Alabama
Historical Commission. (5) The senior collections curator of the Alabama Department of Archives

1 of the act from which this section is derived, vote in favor of changing to an elected board,

Section 45-35A-53 Dothan City Board of Education. (a) There is established a school board for
the City of Dothan, Alabama, which board shall be called the Dothan City Board of Education.
Members of the board shall be elected by vote of the qualified electors of the City of Dothan.
The board shall be composed of seven members, with one member being elected from each of the
six school districts as defined in subsection (b), and the chair being elected from the city
