Section 34-27C-3 Powers of the board. (a) The board shall have the following powers: (1) In accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, to adopt rules not in conflict with the laws of this state which are reasonable, proper, and necessary to carry out the functions of the board in the regulation of persons engaged in providing security officers within this state. Any interested person may petition the board to adopt, amend, or repeal any rule and the board shall prescribe by rule any necessary forms for petitions and procedures for submission, consideration, and disposition of petitions. Section 41-14A-6 Establishment of SAFE board of directors; powers and duties of the board of directors. Section 22-30D-5 Alabama Drycleaning Environmental Response Trust Fund. (a) There is hereby created the Alabama Drycleaning Environmental Response Trust Fund, hereinafter referred to as the "fund." The fund as so created shall be administered and used by the board as a drycleaning industry self-insurance program for the benefit of those persons electing to be covered by this chapter within the time(s) specified in accordance with the provision of this chapter and as a revolving fund for carrying out the purposes of this chapter.
