Section 9-6-7 Advisory committee. Whenever the described area of operation shall include
three or more counties or portions thereof, there shall be created an advisory committee to
consult with and assist the authority. The advisory committee shall consist of one member
from each affected county who shall be a person of good moral character and a duly qualified
elector of the county he represents on the advisory committee, together with the Governor,
the State Health Officer, the Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources, the State
Geologist, the Director of the State Industrial Development Board, the Chairman of the Alabama

Section 34-21A-3 Alabama Onsite Wastewater Board. (a) There is established the Alabama
Onsite Wastewater Board. The board shall consist of nine members who shall, at the time of
appointment and during the entire time for which appointed, be residents and citizens of Alabama.

Section 45-37A-54.63 Board of directors. Such authority formed under this subpart shall
constitute a public benefit agency of the State of Alabama and shall have a board of directors
of nine members selected as herein provided. Such board of directors shall constitute the
governing body of the authority. The members of the board of directors shall serve without
compensation, except they shall be reimbursed for actual expenses incurred in and about the

Section 16-5-2 Composition; appointment; qualifications of members; duties. (a) The
