Section 38-15-3 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall
have the following meanings: (1) CHILD. A person under the age of 18 years. (2) COMMUNITY
TREATMENT FACILITY FOR YOUTHS. A religious, faith-based, or church nonprofit, other nonprofit,
or for profit youth residential facility that provides mental health treatment services to
children in a group setting and that has the capacity to provide secure containment. (3) DEPARTMENT.
The State Department of Human Resources. (4) DIRECTOR. The Director of the State Department
of Human Resources. (5) LONG TERM YOUTH RESIDENTIAL FACILITY. A religious, faith-based, or

and information acquired or generated in juvenile courts concerning children shall be confidential
and shall not be released to any person, department, agency, or entity, except as provided

consent prohibited; applicability; penalties; recording rights; evidence of performer's consent.

Section 16-28-5 Private tutor. Instruction by a private tutor means and includes only
instruction by a person who holds a certificate issued by the State Superintendent of Education
and who offers instruction in the several branches of study required to be taught in the public
schools of this state, for at least three hours a day for 140 days each calendar year, between

Section 16-44A-32 Powers and duties of board. In furtherance of the purposes of the

Section 16-27A-2 Definitions. The following definitions and provisions shall apply to

Section 26-14-8 Statewide central registry. (a) For the purposes of this section,
the following words shall have the following meanings, respectively: (1) INDICATED. When credible
evidence and professional judgment substantiates that an alleged perpetrator is responsible
