Section 16-37-3 Superintendent in charge of vocational education. The State Superintendent
of Education shall designate, by and with the advice and consent of the State Board of Education,
such assistants as may be necessary to properly carry out the provisions of this chapter.

Section 16-4-1.1 Vacancies. (a) Notice of a vacancy in the position of State Superintendent
of Education shall be posted by the State Board of Education. The notice shall be posted on
the Internet and in a conspicuous place at each school campus and worksite, including all
state and local board of education offices, at least 30 calendar days before the position

City of Anniston, Alabama, shall be called "The Anniston City Board of Education."
The board shall be composed of one member being elected from each of the wards in the city
