the Arts. (a) Any active and contributing member of the Employees' Retirement System may purchase
credit in the Employees' Retirement System for prior service with the Alabama State Council

Section 16-25-10.11 Officers and employees of School Superintendents of Alabama. (a)
The governing body of the School Superintendents of Alabama, by resolution legally adopted

Section 16-25-26 Performance of duties by retired persons; service in elected public
office. (a) Any person who is retired under the Teachers' Retirement System may perform duties
in any capacity, including as an independent contractor, with any employer participating in
