Upon request of the State Superintendent of Education, the Department of Public Safety shall request and obtain nationwide criminal history background information reports from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and statewide criminal history background information reports from the Alabama Bureau of Investigation for each current public certified employee and current public noncertified employee within a reasonable time after receipt of the request. Section 16-24C-11 Termination of employment by teacher. THIS SECTION WAS AMENDED BY ACT 2018-83 IN THE 2018 REGULAR SESSION, EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 2018. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT. Section 16-16-14 Use of bond proceeds for loans to local boards of education. The proceeds derived from the sale of any bonds issued pursuant to subsection (b) of Section 3 of Act 98-373 shall be deposited in the State Treasury and shall be carried in a separate fund therein for the account of the authority, which shall pay therefrom the expenses of issuance thereof.
