Section 9-10B-14 Expiration of term or vacancy on commission; succession; appointment. At the expiration of the terms of the members initially appointed to the commission, their successors shall be appointed by the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, and Speaker of the House of Representatives on the same basis as the initial members for terms of six years. No member of the commission may serve more than two full six-year terms. At the expiration of a term of office or in the event of a vacancy on the commission, the appropriate appointing authority shall promptly make an appointment to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the vacating member's term.
