Section 41-10-260 Definitions. The following terms, wherever used in this article, shall have the following respective meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) AUTHORITY. The public corporation organized pursuant to the provisions of this article. (2) BOARD OF DIRECTORS. The board of directors of the authority. (3) BONDS. When used with reference to debt instruments issued by the authority, means bonds, notes and other forms of indebtedness. (4) BUILDING COMMISSION. The Building Commission created by Act No. 128 adopted at the 1945 Regular Session of the Legislature of the state, and any successor agency thereto. (5) CHIEF JUSTICE. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of Alabama. (6) GOVERNMENT SECURITIES. Section 43-8-1 General definitions. Subject to additional definitions contained in the subsequent articles which are applicable to specific articles or divisions, and unless the context otherwise requires, in this chapter, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) BENEFICIARY. Section 27-2-24 Examinations - Report; confidentiality of information. (a) The commissioner, or his or her examiner, shall make a full and true written report of each examination. (a) There are exempted from the provisions of this division and from the computation of the amount of the tax levied, assessed, or payable under this division the following: (1) The gross proceeds of the sales of lubricating oil and gasoline as defined in Sections 40-17-30 and 40-17-170 and the gross proceeds from those sales of lubricating oil destined for out-of-state use which are transacted in a manner whereby an out-of-state purchaser takes delivery of such oil at a distributor's plant within this state and transports it out-of-state, which are otherwise taxed. Section 41-14A-6 Establishment of SAFE board of directors; powers and duties of the board of directors. (a) There is hereby established a Board of Directors of the SAFE Program charged with responsibility and authority to assess and manage the sufficiency of the collateral pool and the SAFE Program to provide adequate protection from losses to public depositors.
