(a) Any individual, partnership, corporation, association, or joint venture desiring to engage in the business of fire protection sprinkler contractor I shall submit to the State Fire Marshal on standard forms provided by the State Fire Marshal a completed application. Section 16-1-24.3 Local boards of education to implement policies requiring expulsion of students who possess firearms in school areas. (a) All city and county boards of education shall develop and implement local policies and procedures requiring the expulsion of students, for a period of one year, who are determined to have brought to school or have in their possession a firearm in a school building, on school grounds, on school buses, or at other school-sponsored functions. Notwithstanding the foregoing, city and county boards of education and the local superintendent of education of each board may modify the expulsion requirement for a student on a case-by-case basis. Section 16-16-14 Use of bond proceeds for loans to local boards of education. The proceeds derived from the sale of any bonds issued pursuant to subsection (b) of Section 3 of Act 98-373 shall be deposited in the State Treasury and shall be carried in a separate fund therein for the account of the authority, which shall pay therefrom the expenses of issuance thereof.
