Section 45-2-100.2 THIS SECTION WAS ASSIGNED BY THE CODE COMMISSIONER IN THE 2019 REGULAR SESSION,
EFFECTIVE JUNE 5, 2019. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT. (a) The Legislature finds
and declares the following: (1) The magnitude and patterns of the historical and projected
increases of population in Baldwin County, Alabama, continue to create significant needs for
the acquisition, construction, and capital improvement of the public school facilities of
the county board of education. (2) The costs of such public school facilities, including the
payment of indebtedness incurred therefor, require significant capital expenditures of the
county board of education in each fiscal year. (3) The local sources of funds of the county
board of education for public school facilities consist of the proceeds of ad valorem, and
privilege license and excise, taxes levied on a county-wide basis in Baldwin County. (4) Given

Section 16-13-120 Authority to issue; interest rate; terms, use of proceeds, etc. In any county
in which a special license or privilege tax or excise tax may now or hereafter be levied,
or the proceeds of any ad valorem tax equivalent shall be apportioned, by local act of the
Legislature of Alabama, the county board of education of the county or the city board of education
of any city in the county, as the case may be, may sell and issue interest-bearing warrants,
the principal of and the interest on which shall be payable solely from that portion of the
proceeds from such tax or tax equivalent which may be apportioned and paid to such board of

Section 16-13-91 Approval of issuance. Before issuing any warrants hereunder the county board
of education or the city board of education, as the case may be, shall cause an application
for approval of such issue to be filed with the State Superintendent of Education. Such application
shall be in such form and shall contain such information as the State Superintendent of Education
may prescribe, and he may require such further information as may be necessary relating to

Section 16-25-10 Certain school bus drivers, mechanics and maintenance workers - Persons previously
under Employees' Retirement System of Alabama. (a) All employees of city and county boards

by county boards of education shall constitute a system of high schools for the county. Such

Section 16-8-4 Organizational, regular and special meetings; rules of procedure; majority vote.
The county board of education shall hold an annual meeting each year in November. At this
