Section 16-39-3 Education required for exceptional children; source of funds. Each school board
shall provide not less than 12 consecutive years of appropriate instruction and special services
for exceptional children, beginning with those six years of age, in accordance with the provisions
of this chapter. Such public school instruction and special services shall be made available
at public expense for each school year to exceptional children as provided herein. The funds
for such instruction and special services shall be derived from state, county, municipal,
district, federal or other sources or combinations of sources. Each school board shall set
aside from its revenues from all such sources such amounts as are needed to carry out the
provisions of this chapter, if such funds are available without impairment of regular classes

Section 45-42-243.06 Disposition of funds. The proceeds of the taxes imposed by this part,
when paid to the custodian of the county school funds of Limestone County, as provided in
Section 45-42-243.03, shall be apportioned and used in the following manner: The custodian
of the county school funds of Limestone County shall apportion such proceeds between the county

complete statement of the receipts by source and disbursements by function of the county for

Section 16-9-11 Vacancies. (a) A vacancy in the position of county superintendent shall be
filled by the county board of education within 180 days after such a vacancy occurs. Within

Section 45-22A-21 Board of education. (a) There is established a school board for the City
of Cullman, Alabama, which board shall be called "The Cullman City Board of Education."
The board shall be composed of five members elected from the city at-large by the qualified
