Section 16-40-20 Elective courses authorized for objective study of the Bible and religious history. (a) A public school may offer elective courses in the objective study of the Bible and religious history in grades six to 12, inclusive, as follows: (1) A social studies course on the Hebrew Scriptures of the Old Testament of the Bible. (2) A social studies course on the Greek Scriptures of the New Testament of the Bible. (3) A social studies course on the Hebrew Scriptures of the Old Testament and the Greek Scriptures of the New Testament of the Bible. (4) A social studies course in religious history. Section 45-22A-21 Board of education. (a) There is established a school board for the City of Cullman, Alabama, which board shall be called "The Cullman City Board of Education." The board shall be composed of five members elected from the city at-large by the qualified electors of the City of Cullman. Places on the board shall be numbered one to five, inclusive.
