Section 16-13-188 Election result; levy, amount and duration of tax; limitation on use
of proceeds. The county commission shall declare the result of the election; and, where the
electors have voted so as to require the levy of a tax, the county commission shall levy said
special tax and cause the tax assessor to assess the same on the taxable property in said
county or in said rural or city school tax district, as the case may be, which shall not exceed
$.30 on each $100.00 worth of taxable property in said county or in said rural or city school
tax district, as the case may be. Any special tax levied hereunder shall not be for a shorter
term than two years. In all elections hereafter held, if the specific purposes for which said
tax, when levied, shall be used is printed on the ballots to be used in said election, it
shall be unlawful for the county board of education to apply it to any other purpose. (School

Section 13A-11-72 Certain persons forbidden to possess pistol. (a) No person who has
been convicted in this state or elsewhere of committing or attempting to commit a crime of
violence, misdemeanor offense of domestic violence, violent offense as listed in Section
12-25-32(15), anyone who is subject to a valid protection order for domestic abuse, or anyone
of unsound mind shall own a firearm or have one in his or her possession or under his or her

Section 16-28B-5 Model policy. The department shall develop a model policy prohibiting
bullying, violence, and threats of violence on or off of school property, on a school bus,
or at any school-sponsored function. The model policy, at a minimum, shall contain all of
the following components: (1) A statement prohibiting bullying, violence, and threats of violence.
(2) Definitions of the terms bullying, as provided in subdivision (1) of Section 16-28B-3,

Section 41-15-4 Value for which state property to be insured; annual certification;
gap coverage and gap plus coverage; survey of public property; sale or salvage of insured

Section 16-27A-4 Notice of violation; destruction of images and information. (a) After
review of the violation by a law enforcement officer or trained technician, the governing
body or contractor shall send the owner of a vehicle that has been detected by the device
as being involved in a school bus violation a notice of violation by U. S. mail. A notice
of violation shall be mailed no later than 14 days after being reviewed by law enforcement.
