Section 16-65-5 Powers of authority. The authority shall have all of the following powers: (1) To adopt an official seal and alter the same at its pleasure. (2) To sue and be sued in contract and in tort and to complain and defend in all courts of law and equity. (3) To maintain an office at such place or places as it may designate. (4) To borrow money and to issue bonds for the purpose of making equipment loans to educational institutions to finance equipment costs, and to provide for the rights of the purchasers, holders, or owners of such bonds. The Interstate Compact for Juveniles is enacted into law and entered into with all jurisdictions mutually adopting the compact in the form substantially as follows: THE INTERSTATE COMPACT FOR JUVENILES Article I.
