(a) In addition to all compensation heretofore provided by law, each member of the Jury Commission of Lauderdale County, including the clerk of the commission, shall be paid five dollars ($5) per day for the time actually engaged in the discharge of his or her duties as such member, to be paid out of the county treasury, upon the warrant of the judge of probate of the county. (a) It shall be unlawful for any person to mutilate or alter, for the purpose of deception, any motor vehicle tag, plate, or validation stamp or to use upon any motor vehicle any tags, plates, or validation stamps in imitation of or substitution for authorized issued tags, plates, or validation stamps.
