Section 15-23-8 Compensation for economic loss resulting from criminal conduct - Authorized;
procedure. (a) The commission may award compensation for economic loss arising from criminally
injurious conduct if satisfied by a preponderance of the evidence that the requirements for

Section 41-9-68 Determination of amount of injury or damage and entry of award for payment
of damages generally. (a) When claims are properly prepared and presented to the Board of

Section 29-2-160 Methods of payment; eligibility of estate to receive compensation. (a) The
committee in its discretion may direct that payment of compensation claims be in a lump sum

Section 25-5-57 Compensation for disability. (a) Compensation schedule. Following is the schedule
of compensation: (1) TEMPORARY TOTAL DISABILITY. For injury producing temporary total disability,
the compensation shall be 66 2/3 percent of the average weekly earnings received at the time
