Section 11-52-80 Board of adjustment - Creation; composition; qualifications, appointment,
terms of office and removal of members; vacancies; adoption of rules of procedure; meetings;
record of proceedings; procedure for appeals to board from decisions of administrative officials;
powers of board as to appeals. (a) In availing itself of the powers conferred by this article,
the legislative body of any incorporated city or town may provide for the appointment of a
board of adjustment and, in the regulations and restrictions adopted pursuant to the authority
of this article, may provide that the said board of adjustment shall in appropriate cases
and subject to appropriate conditions and safeguards make special exceptions to the terms
of the ordinance in harmony with its general purposes and interests and in accordance with

Section 34-23-90 Authority; composition. (a) The Alabama State Board of Pharmacy is
vested with the authority to carry out the purposes of and enforce this chapter. The board
shall consist of five members who are citizens of this state. The members of the board shall
be licensed pharmacists who have been licensed in this state for a minimum of five years and
who are actively engaged in the practice of pharmacy or pharmacy administration, or both.
(b) Three members shall be appointed by the Governor. Of the three appointed members, one
member shall be engaged in the practice of pharmacy or pharmacy administration, or both, in

staff. (a) There is created the Alabama Housing Trust Fund Advisory Committee for the purpose
of advising the Director of ADECA and staff of the department with respect to the Alabama

Section 33-9-2 Authorization; provisions. The Governor, on behalf of this state, is
hereby authorized to execute a compact, in substantially the form as provided hereinafter,
with the State of Mississippi: Article I. The purpose of this compact is to promote the development
of a deep draft harbor and terminal to be located on the continental shelf of the United States,
