Section 26-1-4 Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency to provide criminal conviction information on applicants for positions involving child care and treatment; such information to be confidential; applicant to be denied status if has felony conviction; children may be removed from home. ACMEC shall be responsible for the following specific functions: (1) To receive and promptly enter into the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency's computer system all reports of law enforcement agencies, and other persons and agencies, of missing children and adults, exploited children, and of unidentified deceased persons, and all pertinent information submitted by the person or agency reporting which is contained in any investigation or investigations conducted pursuant to the report. Section 32-2-83 Disposal of vehicles. (a) Any other provisions to the law contrary notwithstanding, the Secretary of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency shall be responsible for the disposal of any agency vehicles or property. Such vehicles or property shall be sold by the Secretary or his or her designee either at public auction or by a negotiated sale by the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency to any other state department or agency. Section 41-27-5 State Bureau of Investigations. (a) The State Bureau of Investigations is hereby created in the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency.
