Section 40-27-1 Compact adopted; terms. The following Multistate Tax Compact is hereby approved, adopted and enacted into law by the State of Alabama: Multistate Tax Compact Article I. Purposes. Section 45-49A-63.66 Forfeiture for cause. Notwithstanding anything in the plan to the contrary, if a member shall at any time be convicted of a Class A felony or of an offense under any local, state, or federal law that would result in the conviction of a Class A felony in the State of Alabama, all benefits that would otherwise be payable to him or her under the plan shall be forfeited. Each appointed officer and each employee of a commission shall be of good moral character and shall never have been convicted of a felony or other offense involving moral turpitude.
