Section 31-2A-39 (Article 39.) Sessions. (a) At any time after the service of charges which
have been referred for trial to a court-martial composed of a military judge and members,
the military judge, subject to Section 31-2A-35 (Article 35), may call the court into session
without the presence of the members for the purpose of: (1) Hearing and determining motions

Section 45-3-82.47 Costs and fees. (a) An applicant may be assessed a fee to be established
by the district attorney when the applicant is approved for the program. The amount of the
assessment for participation in the program shall be in addition to any court costs and assessments
for victims or drug, alcohol, or anger management treatment required by law, the district
attorney, or the court, and are in addition to costs of supervision, treatment, and restitution
for which the pretrial diversion admittee may be responsible. Pretrial diversion program fees
as established by this subpart may be waived or reduced due to indigency or reduced ability

Section 17-4-6.1 Investigation of registered voter reported to be deceased or a nonresident
of the precinct. (a) To facilitate the continuous maintenance of the computerized statewide
voter registration list, each county board of registrars shall investigate written reports
from a family member of an elector, the inspector of an election precinct, the judge of probate,
the sheriff, and the clerk of the circuit court that an elector registered to vote in a precinct

Section 12-10A-1 Compensation of judges - Uniform plan. (a) In recognition of the disparity
in compensation of circuit and district judges caused by varying amounts of local supplements
to state salaries and the need for a uniform plan of compensation, the following comprehensive
plan is adopted for the compensation of judges. This plan, when implemented, shall reward

Section 12-18-52 Contributions to retirement fund by judges. After January 16, 1977, each district
judge who comes under the provisions of Article 1 of this chapter by election or by operation
of law shall contribute to the Judicial Retirement Fund annually, payable in equal monthly
installments, four and one-half percent of his annual compensation paid by the State of Alabama;
provided, that after February 1, 1977, the rate of contribution to be paid by such judge shall
be six percent of his salary derived from the State of Alabama, but such increased rate of
