Section 15-10-11 Authority of officer to pursue and arrest defendant in another county on warrant from municipal court. Any lawful officer, having a warrant of arrest issued by a municipal court to execute, may pursue the defendant into another county and, on obtaining a signed endorsement on the warrant by an officer of that county authorized to issue such a warrant, to the following effect: "A. Section 15-7-4 Warrant of arrest - Defined; contents; form. (a) A "warrant of arrest" is an order in writing, issued and signed by a judge or magistrate, stating the substance of the complaint and directed to a proper officer, commanding him to arrest the defendant. The basis of all undertakings of bail, whether upon a warrant, writ of arrest, suspension of judgment, writ of error, or in any other case, is to ensure the appearance of the defendant in court, and the undertaking is forfeited by the failure of the defendant to appear.
