Section 9-11-198 Penalty for violations of provisions of article; revocation of licenses. Any
person who violates this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall
be punished as prescribed by law; provided, that the fine shall be not less than one hundred
dollars ($100) nor more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250), and in addition to that punishment,
the court trying the case shall revoke all basket licenses issued or to be issued to the person

of this article, it shall be penalized civilly in a sum not exceeding $1,000.00 for each such
violation, to be recovered as a penalty in the circuit court of the county in which the violation
