Section 45-37A-54.35 Leases. (a) The authority may lease the facilities of the district or any portion thereof and provide for the payment of the consideration through the appropriation of funds or otherwise. (b) The obligations of the lessee or lessees under any lease shall constitute a charge against the revenues of the lessee or lessees to the extent and in the manner agreed upon by the parties. (c) In the event the State of Alabama or any of its various agencies or any political subdivision of the state or any combination of the foregoing shall lease all or any portion of the facilities of the district, then the entities shall have the right to sublease to any person or corporation, public or private, all or any portion of the facilities leased upon the terms and conditions as they may determine. The term appropriate city official, as used in this article shall mean any city official or city employee designated by the mayor or other chief executive officer of the City of Chickasaw as the person to exercise the authority and perform the duties delegated by this article to the appropriate city official.
