Section 14-2-2 Purpose of chapter; construction thereof. It is the intent of the Legislature,
by the passage of this chapter, to authorize the incorporation of the Governor, the Commissioner
of Corrections, the Director of Finance, the Lieutenant Governor and the Attorney General
as a public corporation for the purposes of acquiring land, constructing and leasing correctional
institutions, buildings and facilities, disposing of the Kilby property by sale or lease and
to vest such corporation with all powers, authority, rights, privileges and titles that may
be necessary to enable it to accomplish such purpose. This chapter shall be liberally construed

Section 32-20-2 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates
a different meaning: (1) DEALER. A person licensed by the Alabama Manufactured Housing Commission
as a manufactured home retailer and engaged regularly in the business of buying, selling,
or exchanging manufactured homes in this state, and having an established place of business.

Section 32-8-2 Definitions. For the purpose of this chapter, the following terms shall have
