Section 45-28-82.20 Definitions. For purposes of this subpart, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) DISTRICT ATTORNEY. The District Attorney of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit in Etowah County, or any of his or her staff. (2) LAW ENFORCEMENT or LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER. Any person who is employed by an agency or department whose purpose is to protect the citizens, including, but not limited to, police personnel, sheriff personnel, a district attorney investigator, Department of Human Resources personnel, parole and probation personnel, community corrections office personnel, and court referral office personnel, whether that agency or department is in this state or located elsewhere. (3) OFFENDER. Any person charged with a crime as defined by this code, or municipal ordinance, which was committed in the jurisdiction of the state. (4) SERIOUS PHYSICAL INJURY. Section 45-9-20 Prohibited activities at licensed establishments. (a) The Legislature finds that nudity, sexual conduct, and the depiction or simulation thereof in conjunction with the furnishing of alcoholic beverages in public places is contrary to the safety, health, and morals of the inhabitants of Chambers County, Alabama, and is desirous of prohibiting such conduct. This section is therefore enacted pursuant to the authority granted in Article IV. Section 12-15-215 Disposition of delinquent children or children in need of supervision generally. (a) If the juvenile court finds on proof beyond a reasonable doubt, based upon competent, material, and relevant evidence, that a child committed the acts by reason of which the child is alleged to be delinquent or in need of supervision, it may proceed immediately to hear evidence as to whether the child is in need of care or rehabilitation and to file its findings thereon. In the absence of evidence to the contrary, a finding that the child has committed an act which constitutes a felony is sufficient to sustain a finding that the child is in need of care or rehabilitation.
