Section 45-49-120 Definitions. In this part, words used in the masculine gender include the feminine and neuter genders, and words used in the neuter gender include the masculine and feminine genders. The following words, terms, and phrases, wherever used in this part, shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section unless the context plainly indicates a contrary meaning: (1) APPOINTING AUTHORITY or APPOINTING POWER. Section 45-49A-63 Definitions. As used in this part, the following words and terms shall have meanings as follows: (1) ANNUITY STARTING DATE. The first day for which a benefit is payable as an annuity or any other form under Section 45-49A-63.80. (2) BENEFICIARY. Section 34-13-56 Grounds for revocation, suspension, or refusal to issue or renew licenses, etc.; hearing; fines. (a) The board may refuse to license any person or establishment for violation of this chapter.
