Section 6-5-248 Who may redeem; priorities. (a) Where real estate, or any interest therein,
is sold, it may be redeemed by: (1) Any debtor, including any surety or guarantor. (2) Any
mortgagor, even if the mortgagor is not personally liable for payment of a debt. (3) Any junior
mortgagee, or its transferee. (4) Judgment creditor, or its transferee. (5) Any transferee
of the interests of the debtor or mortgagor, either before or after the sale. A transfer of
any kind made by the debtor or mortgagor will accomplish a transfer of the interests of that
party. (6) The respective spouses of all debtors, mortgagors, or transferees of any interest
of the debtor or mortgagor, who are spouses on the day of the execution, judgment, or foreclosure

Section 10A-5-6.05 Member's financial rights subject to charging order. REPEALED IN THE 2014
REGULAR SESSION BY ACT 2014-144 EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2017. (a) On application to a court of
competent jurisdiction by any judgment creditor of a member or assignee, the court may charge
the interest of the member or assignee with payment of the unsatisfied amount of the judgment
with interest. To the extent so charged, the judgment creditor has only the rights of an assignee
of financial rights. This section shall be the sole and exclusive remedy of a judgment creditor

Section 7-9A-313 When possession by or delivery to secured party perfects security interest
without filing. (a) Perfection by possession or delivery. Except as otherwise provided in
subsection (b), a secured party may perfect a security interest in tangible negotiable documents,

Section 10A-17-1.15 Transition concerning real and personal property. (a) If, before January
1, 1996, an estate or interest in real or personal property was purportedly transferred to
a nonprofit association, on January 1, 1996 the estate or interest vests in the nonprofit
