Section 3-6A-3 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following words shall
have the following meanings: (1) ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER. Any person employed by a county or
municipality who performs animal control functions or any person who performs animal control
functions who is employed by an entity under agreement or contract with a county or municipality
to perform animal control functions or to enforce this chapter. (2) ATTACK. Aggressive physical
contact by a dog. (3) BITTEN. Seized with the teeth so that the skin of the person seized
has been gripped, or has been wounded or pierced, resulting in physical injury. (4) DANGEROUS
DOG. A dog, regardless of its breed, that has bitten, attacked, or caused physical injury,

Section 11-89A-2 Definitions. The following words and phrases used in this chapter,

Section 37-2-84 Abandonment and discontinuance of grade crossings. (a) The Department
of Transportation is given authority and power to abandon and discontinue any portion of a
state highway, or street on a state highway route with the approval of the city council or
governing body of any municipality, crossing the tracks or right-of-way of any railroad or
street railway within the state, and to close the grade crossing, whenever in the judgment
of the department the grade crossing has ceased to be necessary for the public as a part of
any state highway, because of relocation of the highway, or because of the construction of
an underpass or overpass, or other provision made for the elimination of the grade crossing.

Section 40-17-359 Distribution and use of proceeds. (a) For the purpose of this section,

Section 13A-11-61.3 Regulation of firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories. (a)
The purpose of this section is to establish within the Legislature complete control
over regulation and policy pertaining to firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories in
