Section 45-23-82.02 Applicants for admittance. (a) A person charged with a criminal offense specified in this subsection whose jurisdiction is in the circuit or district court of the Thirty-third Judicial Circuit may apply to the District Attorney of the Thirty-third Judicial Circuit for admittance to the pretrial diversion program. (b) A person charged only with any of the following offenses may apply for the program: (1) A traffic offense, other than driving under the influence (DUI). (2) A property offense. (3) An offense wherein the victim did not receive serious physical injury. (4) An offense in which the victim was not a child under 14 years of age, a law enforcement officer, a school official, or a correctional officer. (5) A misdemeanor other than one specifically excluded in this section. (b)(1) The Legislature finds and declares that: a. Section 32-5A-195 Cancellation, suspension, or revocation of driver's license; grounds, procedure, etc. (a) The Secretary of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency is authorized to cancel any driver's license upon determining that the licensee was not entitled to the issuance thereof or that the licensee failed to give the correct or required information in his or her application. Section 25-5-57 Compensation for disability. (a) Compensation schedule. Following is the schedule of compensation: (1) TEMPORARY TOTAL DISABILITY. For injury producing temporary total disability, the compensation shall be 66 2/3 percent of the average weekly earnings received at the time of injury, subject to a maximum and minimum weekly compensation as stated in Section 25-5-68, but if at the time of injury the employee received average weekly earnings of less than the minimum stated in Section 25-5-68, then he or she shall receive the full amount of the average weekly earnings per week.
