Section 2-31-6 Fire and extended coverage insurance required; certificate filed with commissioner; cancellation. Before a license shall be issued to the applicant, he shall file with the commissioner a certificate which shall indicate that he has a fire and extended coverage insurance policy in effect and in amount that shall cover the grain of all depositors while in his custody for the full insurance values against loss or damage by fire, lightning, tornado, cyclones, explosions, windstorms, and such other perils as may be required by statute or the commissioner. The name and address of the operator and location of each person in the insurance policy shall correspond with the same in the application. (a) Every person transporting a child in a motor vehicle operated on the roadways, streets, or highways of this state, shall provide for the protection of the child by properly using an aftermarket or integrated child passenger restraint system meeting applicable federal motor vehicle safety standards and the requirements of subsection (b). This section shall not be interpreted to release in part or in whole the responsibility of an automobile manufacturer to insure the safety of children to a level at least equivalent to existing federal safety standards for adults. (a)(1) The use of credit cards for any payments made to a Houston County department, agency, board, or commission may be authorized upon approval by the Houston County Commission as provided in subsection (b), and if authorized, shall be accepted pursuant to rules and regulations promulgated by the Houston County Commission.
