Section 11-50B-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ADVANCED TELECOMMUNICATIONS CAPABILITY. Without regard to any transmission media or technology, high-speed, switched, broadband telecommunications capability that enables users to originate and receive high-quality voice, data, graphics, and video telecommunications using any technology. To engage in any conduct directed toward a service dog or handler that is likely to impede or interfere with the performance of a service dog in its duties or places the health and safety of the service dog or its handler in jeopardy. (a) The Legislature finds and declares the following: (1) The citizens of this state rely upon health insurance to cover the cost of obtaining health care and it is essential that the citizens' expectation that their health care costs will be paid by their insurance policies is not disappointed and that they obtain the coverage necessary and appropriate for their care within the terms of their insurance policies. Section 27-1-17 Limitation periods for payment of claims; overdue claims; retroactive denials, adjustments, etc.; penalties.
