hold under this chapter a certificate as a common carrier and a permit as a contract carrier

Upon the trial of any civil, criminal, or quasi-criminal action or proceeding arising out
of acts alleged to have been committed by any person while driving or in actual control of

of financial responsibility under this chapter is or later becomes an operator in the employ
of any owner, or is or later becomes a member of the immediate family or household of the
