Section 13A-10-62 Failure to disclose conflict of interest. (a) A public servant commits the
crime of failing to disclose a conflict of interest if he exercises any substantial discretionary
function in connection with a government contract, purchase, payment or other pecuniary transaction
without advance public disclosure of a known potential conflicting interest in the transaction.
(b) A "potential conflicting interest" exists, but is not limited to, when the public
servant is a director, president, general manager or similar executive officer, or owns directly
or indirectly a substantial portion of any nongovernmental entity participating in the transaction.
(c) Public disclosure includes public announcement or notification to a superior officer or
the Attorney General. (d) Failing to disclose a conflict of interest is a Class A misdemeanor.

(a) A member, agent or employee of the Alabama Crime Victims Compensation Commission commits
the crime of failing to disclose a conflict of interest if such member, agent or employee
exercises any discretionary function in connection with a commission contract, purchase, payment
or other pecuniary transaction pertaining to the commission without advance public disclosure

Section 34-27-36 Disciplinary action - Generally. (a) The commission or its staff may on its
own, or on the verified complaint in writing of any person, investigate the actions and records
of a licensee. The commission may issue subpoenas and compel the testimony of witnesses and
the production of records and documents during an investigation. If probable cause is found,
a formal complaint shall be filed and the commission shall hold a hearing on the formal complaint.
The commission shall revoke or suspend the license or impose a fine of not less than one hundred
dollars ($100) nor more than two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500), or both, or reprimand
the licensee in each instance in which the licensee is found guilty of any of the following

Section 44-2-10 Text of compact. The Interstate Compact for Juveniles is enacted into law and
entered into with all jurisdictions mutually adopting the compact in the form substantially
as follows: THE INTERSTATE COMPACT FOR JUVENILES Article I. Purpose. The compacting states

(a) It is the purpose and intent of the Legislature in connection with all actions against
architects and engineers, who perform or furnish the design, planning, specifications, testing,
supervision, administration, or observation of the construction of an improvement on or to
real property, and builders who construct, perform, or manage the construction of an improvement
