Section 12-8-2 Terms of office of members. The Chief Justice and the associate justices of
the Supreme Court and the judges of the Court of Criminal Appeals and the Court of Civil Appeals

appointment and compensation of other employees of department. The chief administrative officers
of the department shall be the court administrator and the assistant court administrator.

judge from a judicial circuit to serve within another judicial circuit for a reasonable period
