Section 41-9-259 Council on Historic Pilgrimages - Appointment and terms of members;
duties. (a) The individual members of the Council on Historic Pilgrimages who represent the
six above described districts shall each be appointed, initially, by the Alabama Historical
Commission, and three of the initially appointed members shall serve for terms of one year,
with the other three serving for terms of two years each. Subsequent to the initial appointment,
future individual members of the council shall be named for terms of two years each, and such
future members of the council shall be named by the member historic pilgrimage organizations
within the district represented by such council member. (b) The Council on Historic Pilgrimages
shall have the authority to establish such policies as it deems necessary for the carrying
out of its purposes and to admit as general nonvoting members of the council such organizations

(a) On June 7, 2007, the current board members shall complete their terms of office. The board
shall be composed of five members designated respectively as Member No. 1, Member No. 2, Member

Section 23-8-7 Alabama Transportation Rehabilitation and Improvement Program-II Committee.
(a) There is hereby created the Alabama Transportation Rehabilitation and Improvement Program-II
(ATRIP-II) Committee. The appointing authorities shall coordinate their appointments to assure
the committee membership is inclusive and reflects the racial, gender, geographic, urban,
