Section 10A-2A-8.56 Indemnification of officers. (a) A corporation may indemnify and advance
expenses under this Division E of this Article 8 to an officer who is a party to a proceeding
because he or she is an officer (1) to the same extent as a director; and (2) if he or she
is an officer but not a director, to such further extent as may be provided by the certificate
of incorporation or the bylaws, or by a resolution adopted or a contract approved by the board
of directors or stockholders, except for (i) liability in connection with a proceeding by
or in the right of the corporation other than for expenses incurred in connection with the
proceeding, or (ii) liability arising out of conduct that constitutes (A) receipt by the officer
of a financial benefit to which he or she is not entitled, (B) an intentional infliction of
harm on the corporation or the stockholders, or (C) an intentional violation of criminal law.

Section 11-3-11 Powers and duties generally. (a) The county commission shall have authority:
(1) To direct, control, and maintain the property of the county as it may deem expedient according
to law, and in this direction and control it has the sole power to locate the courts in the

Section 12-14-91 Admittance into program; completion of program; eligibility; liability under
program. (a) A person charged with a criminal offense under the jurisdiction of the municipal
court in a municipality that has established a pretrial diversion program may apply to the
court for admittance to the program. (b) Upon receipt of the application and recommendation
of the municipal prosecutor, the judge shall determine whether to grant the individual admittance
to the program. (c) Upon admittance to the program, the individual shall be required to enter
a plea of guilty at which time the case shall be placed in an administrative docket until
such time as the offender has completed all requirements of the pretrial diversion program.

Section 13A-11-61.3 Regulation of firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories. (a) The purpose
of this section is to establish within the Legislature complete control over regulation and
policy pertaining to firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories in order to ensure that
