Section 34-21-121 Definitions. For the purposes of this article, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ADVERSE ACTION. Any administrative, civil, equitable, or criminal action permitted by the law of a state which is imposed by a licensing board or other authority against a nurse, including actions against the license or multistate licensure privilege of an individual, including revocation, suspension, probation, monitoring of a licensee, limitations on the practice of the licensee, the bringing of a cease and desist action against the licensee, or any other encumbrance on licensure affecting the authorization of a nurse to practice. (2) ALTERNATIVE PROGRAM. A nondisciplinary monitoring program approved by a licensing board. (3) COMMISSION. The Interstate Commission of Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators. (4) COMPACT. Section 5-3A-3 Disclosure of information obtained by superintendent, bank examiners, etc. (a) Neither the superintendent, any member of the Banking Board, nor any bank examiner or other state employee shall disclose the condition and affairs of any bank or bank holding company, or their subsidiaries or other affiliates, ascertained by an examination of such bank, or bank holding company, or affiliates, or report or give information as to persons who are depositors or debtors of a bank, except as authorized or required by law; provided, that this section shall not be construed to prevent bank examiners and other employees from reporting such information to the superintendent or such persons as the superintendent may lawfully designate. Section 15-20A-23 Adult sex offender - Relief from residency restriction. (a) A sex offender required to register under this chapter may petition the court for relief from the residency restriction pursuant to subsection (a) of Section 15-20A-11 during the time a sex offender is terminally ill or permanently immobile, or the sex offender has a debilitating medical condition requiring substantial care or supervision or requires placement in a residential health care facility. (b) A petition for relief pursuant to this section shall be filed in the civil division of the circuit court of the county in which the sex offender seeks relief from the residency restriction. Section 27-21B-10 Enforcement of health care coverage for certain employers. (a) In any case in which a noncustodial parent is required by a court or administrative order to provide health care coverage for such child and the employer of the noncustodial parent is known to the Department of Human Resources, the department shall use the federally required medical support notice to provide notice to the employer of the requirement for employer-based health care coverage for the child through the parent of the child who has been ordered to provide health care coverage for the child unless a court or administrative order stipulates that alternative health care coverage to employer-based coverage is to be provided for a child subject to a Title IV-D child support order. Section 34-23-3 State drug investigators. Each state drug investigator employed by the board following the passage of this chapter must furnish satisfactory proof to the board that he or she is a person of good moral character and that in the judgment of the members of the board he or she has sufficient knowledge of the laws pertaining to the practice of pharmacy and law enforcement to enable him or her to carry out his or her duties as an investigator consistent with this chapter. Each state drug investigator employed by the board shall serve an apprenticeship of a minimum of six months working with and under the supervision of the Chief Drug Investigator or other investigator designated by the board.
