Section 36-21-67 Imposition of additional court costs in certain criminal and quasi-criminal proceedings; remittance of proceeds to Executive Director of Alabama Peace Officers' Annuity and Benefit Fund. Section 45-37-81.01 District and circuit courts - TASC Fund. (a) This section shall be operative only in Jefferson County, Bessemer Division, commonly known as the Bessemer Cut-Off. (b)(1) Notwithstanding any special, local, or general law to the contrary, there is levied on all cases in district and circuit courts, an additional fee of five dollars ($5).
