Section 12-17-140 Qualifications for supernumerary status generally; applicability of division;
eligibility of clerk or register of circuit court with 23 years of service. (a) Any clerk
or register of the circuit court, serving on October 1, 1976, or clerk elected or appointed
in any county of the State of Alabama: (1) Who has served as much as five years as a circuit
clerk or register and who has become permanently, physically or mentally unable to carry out
the duties of the office on a full-time basis, proof of such disability being made by a certificate

adopt rules necessary for the administration of this article. The State Board of Health, the

Section 40-25-9 Procedure when goods are confiscated. In all cases of seizure of any goods,
wares, merchandise, or other property hereafter made as being subject to forfeiture under
provisions of this article: (1) The officer or person making the seizure shall cause a list
containing a particular description of the goods, wares, merchandise or other property seized
to be prepared in duplicate. The list shall be properly attested by the officer. (2) The Department
of Revenue shall then proceed to post a notice for three weeks on its web site describing
the articles and stating the time and place and cause of their seizure and requiring any person

Section 12-17-145 Officials covered by division; notification procedure; post-election contribution
transfer; post-transfer credits and contributions. (a) Any clerk or register of the circuit
court shall be subject to the terms of this division unless he or she notifies the Administrative
Director of Courts in writing to the contrary 30 days subsequent to October 1, 1995. This

(b), the right of a person to a pension, an annuity, a retirement allowance or to the return

Section 45-45-81.04 Court administrator. (a) The office of Court Administrator of the Twenty-third
Judicial Circuit of Alabama is redefined as provided in this section. On May 10, 2012, but
