Section 16-25-7 Certain persons employed by Alabama High School Athletic Association. (a) All persons now employed on a full-time basis in an administrative or clerical capacity by the Alabama High School Athletic Association may become members of the Teachers' Retirement System of Alabama within 90 days after October 1, 1967, subject to such rules and regulations as may be promulgated by the Board of Control of the Teachers' Retirement System of Alabama. Any person hereafter employed in an administrative or clerical capacity by the Alabama High School Athletic Association shall be deemed to be a "teacher" as defined in Section 16-25-1 and shall be entitled to the benefits thereof. Section 45-37A-51.09 Compensation limits; forfeitures; required minimum. (a) Compensation in excess of one hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000), or such other amount provided in the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, shall be disregarded. Section 25-4-40.1 Employment Security Enhancement Fund. (a) Retroactive to April 1, 1992, there is hereby placed upon all wages so defined in Section 25-4-16, paid to employees by employers subject to pay contributions as provided in Sections 25-4-51 and 25-4-54, except as is hereinafter provided in this section, a special assessment of 0.06 percent (six one-hundredths of one percent) of such wages.
