Section 45-8-11.03 Expense allowances of certain officials; annual salary adjustments. (a)
Commencing with May 23, 2000, each county official listed below shall be entitled to an expense
allowance in the following amounts per annum, which shall be payable in equal monthly installments
from the county general fund: (1) The Sheriff of Calhoun County, the sum of ten thousand five
hundred dollars ($10,500) per annum. (2) The Coroner of Calhoun County, the sum of eight thousand
eight hundred dollars ($8,800) per annum. (3) The chair of the county commission, the sum
of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) per annum. (4) The Assistant Coroner of Calhoun County,
the sum of one thousand two hundred dollars ($1,200) per annum. (b) The coroner shall also
receive each of the following expense allowances: (1) Six thousand dollars ($6,000) per annum

Section 15-13-203 Alabama Professional Bail Bonding Board - Creation; composition; adoption
and enforcement of rules; compensation. (a) The Alabama Professional Bail Bonding Board is
created to administer and enforce this article. The board shall consist of all of the following
members: (1) Seven professional bondsmen, one from each of the seven congressional districts
of the state, nominated by the Alabama Bail Bond Association and appointed by the Governor
from a list of not more than four nominees for each position on the board. For the initial

Section 27-1-17 Limitation periods for payment of claims; overdue claims; retroactive denials,
adjustments, etc.; penalties. (a) Each insurer, health service corporation, and health benefit
plan that issues or renews any policy of accident or health insurance providing benefits for
medical or hospital expenses for its insured persons shall pay for services rendered by Alabama
health care providers within 45 calendar days upon receipt of a clean written claim or 30

Section 45-39-210 Courthouse parking. (a) The Lauderdale County Commission is hereby authorized
to provide adequate parking for petit jurors, grand jurors, witnesses, and employees of the
state and county having offices in the county courthouse. The commission may furnish parking
