Section 43-2-843 Transactions authorized for personal representatives; exceptions. Except as restricted or otherwise provided by the will or by an order of court and subject to the priorities stated in Section 43-8-76, a personal representative, acting prudently for the benefit of the interested persons, may properly: (1) Retain assets owned by the decedent pending distribution or liquidation including those in which the representative is personally interested or which are otherwise improper for trust investment. (2) Receive assets from fiduciaries, or other sources. (b) The existence of the fund is contingent upon the receipt by the state of tobacco revenues. (a) A consumer may place a security freeze on the consumer's credit report by making a request in writing by certified mail to a consumer credit reporting agency. No later than August 31, 2012, a consumer credit reporting agency shall make available to consumers an Internet based method of requesting a security freeze and a toll-free telephone number for consumers to use to place a security freeze, temporarily lift a security freeze, or completely remove a security freeze.
