Section 36-7-20 Allowances for expenses other than transportation of persons traveling within state. (a) Except as otherwise provided in Section 36-7-21, the amount allowable to a person traveling inside the State of Alabama in the service of the state or any of its departments, institutions, boards, bureaus, commissions, councils, committees, or other like agencies for expenses other than transportation may be fixed by the Governor at not less than seventy-five dollars ($75) per day, and this amount shall be uniform in operation as to all persons traveling within the state on official business. (b) No travel allowance shall be paid for a trip of less than six hours' duration. For travel which does not require an overnight stay, the traveler shall be paid a meal allowance of 15 percent of the regular per diem rate for a trip of from six to 12 hours' duration, and for travel in excess of 12 hours' duration, the traveler shall be paid one meal allowance and one-fourth of the per diem...

Section 26-24-31 Alabama Children's Policy Council Fund. (a) There is hereby established the Alabama Children's Policy Council Fund into which there is automatically appropriated twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) annually at the beginning of each fiscal year. Any funds remaining in the Alabama Children's Policy Council Fund at the end of any fiscal year shall not revert to the State General Fund. The Comptroller shall transfer the moneys from the State General Fund to the Alabama Children's Policy Council Fund annually at the beginning of each fiscal year and the moneys in the fund shall be expended for the travel expenses of members of the Alabama Children's Policy Council who are not otherwise reimbursed by the state and such other necessary operating costs and expenses as approved by the Chair of the Alabama Children's Policy Council. (a) In order to make available to the commission the services of an advisory body on such technical matters as the commission shall require, there is hereby created the Technical Advisory Committee to the commission which shall consist of the Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries, the Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources, the Director of the Alabama Development Office and the State Geologist, each of whom shall be members of said advisory committee throughout his respective term and until the appointment of his successor. Section 38-9A-3 Regional support councils. (a) Each regional support council shall be composed solely of individuals with developmental disabilities and their family members. Membership shall not exceed 20 members per council, with at least one member to be appointed from each of the affiliated councils, and at least two at-large members who are not members of any community council. A quorum of 40 percent of the membership shall be required to conduct business. Membership shall be distributed equitably throughout the geographic region and shall be representative of the prevalent developmental disabilities.
