Section 33-19-1 Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin Compact. The State of Alabama hereby agrees to the following interstate compact known as the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin Compact: Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin Compact The States of Alabama, Florida and Georgia and the United States of America hereby agree to the following compact which shall become effective upon enactment of concurrent legislation by each respective state legislature and the Congress of the United States. Section 16-6D-9 Tax credit claims; administrative accountability; verification of requirements; rules and procedures. (a)(1) An individual taxpayer who files a state income tax return and is not claimed as a dependent of another taxpayer, a taxpayer subject to the corporate income tax levied by Chapter 18 of Title 40, an Alabama S corporation as defined in Section 40-18-160, or a Subchapter K entity as defined in Section 40-18-1 may claim a credit for a contribution made to a scholarship granting organization. (a) If the juvenile court finds it necessary to temporarily confine or restrain the minor or child, pending final hearing upon a petition for mental commitment of the minor or child in the custody of any person, department, or agency other than his or her parent, legal guardian, or legal custodian, the juvenile court at the time the confinement is ordered shall set the matter for a hearing within seven days to determine if probable cause exists that the minor or child should be committed.
