Section 38-10-30 Definitions. As used in this article, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) CHILD. A minor or disabled child. (2) CUSTODY. A legal status created by court order. Section 15-20A-5 Sex offenses. For the purposes of this chapter, a sex offense includes any of the following offenses: (1) Rape in the first degree, as provided by Section 13A-6-61. (2) Rape in the second degree, as provided by Section 13A-6-62. Section 16-1-51.1 Comprehensive model policy for supervision and monitoring of juvenile sex offender students; educational placement of juvenile sex offenders. (a)(1) On or before January 1, 2019, the State Board of Education shall develop a comprehensive model policy for the supervision and monitoring of juvenile sex offender students, who have a low risk of re-offense and are enrolled, attending class, and participating in school activities with the general population of students. The purpose of the model policy is to provide a safe and secure environment for all students and staff. Section 30-3C-9 Hearing on petition to prevent abduction. (a) If a petition is filed under this chapter, the court may set a preliminary hearing as necessary, and shall cause to be issued all summonses and notices as required by law and otherwise deemed necessary and appropriate. Section 13A-12-290 License suspended for six months; crediting of time. In addition to any other penalty provided by law, the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency shall suspend for a period of six months the driver's license of any person, including, but not limited to, a juvenile, child, or youthful offender, convicted or adjudicated of, or subjected to a finding of delinquency based on, the crimes specified in Section 13A-12-291.
