(a)(1) A person commits the crime of domestic violence in the second degree if the person commits the crime of assault in the second degree pursuant to Section 13A-6-21; the crime of intimidating a witness pursuant to Section 13A-10-123; the crime of stalking pursuant to Section 13A-6-90; the crime of burglary in the second or third degree pursuant to Sections 13A-7-6 and 13A-7-7; or the crime of criminal mischief in the first degree pursuant to Section 13A-7-21 and the victim is a current or former spouse, parent, step-parent, child, step-child, any person with whom the defendant has a child in common, a present household member, or a person who has or had a dating relationship with the defendant. Section 15-20A-25 Adult sex offender - Relief from employment restriction. (a) A sex offender may petition at sentencing, or if after sentencing, a sex offender may file a petition in the civil division of the circuit court in the county where the sex offender seeks to accept or maintain employment for relief from the employment restrictions pursuant to subsection (b) of Section 15-20A-13. (a) Effective January 1, 1998, it shall be unlawful for any person or business entity to engage in a business regulated by this chapter in this state without a current valid license or in violation of this chapter and applicable rules and regulations of the board. (a) Fingerprints of a child who has been charged with a delinquent act shall be taken by the law enforcement agency taking the child into custody. The prints may be retained in a local file and a copy shall be filed with the Alabama Bureau of Investigation. (b) If latent fingerprints are found during the investigation of a delinquent act and a law enforcement officer has reason to believe that they are those of the child in custody, the officer may fingerprint the child regardless of age or delinquent act for purpose of immediate comparison with the latent fingerprints.
