Section 12-15-217 Notice of delinquent acts. (a) Notwithstanding subsection (a) of Section 12-15-133, written notice that a child enrolled in a school, kindergarten to grade 12, has been found delinquent of an act which if committed by an adult would be a Class A or B felony or any other crime, at the discretion of the juvenile court, shall be provided within seven days to the superintendent of the school district of attendance, or, if the child attends a private school, to the principal of the school. (a) The Administrative Director of Courts may authorize one or more referee positions in any judicial circuit on either a full-time or a part-time basis upon submission of a written request by the presiding circuit court judge and upon consideration of funding and the number of child support cases in the domestic relations division of the circuit court, including cases brought pursuant to Title IV-D of the Social Security Act. Section 15-1-2 Limits on interviews of victims of sexual abuse or exploitation under 12 years of age; confidentiality of court records of victims under 18 years of age. (a) The presiding judge of a judicial circuit, after consultation with the district attorney for the judicial circuit may provide for reasonable limits on the number of interviews a victim of sexual abuse or exploitation, who is under 12 years of age, must submit to for law enforcement or other purposes.
